ARINC (Aeronautical Radio Incorporated) standards define the components, test procedures, design, handling and maintenance approaches for fibre optic aircraft solutions. In particular, ARINC 801 is an essential part of this connectivity system’s foundation, specifying the optical connection and its parameters. Sylex has extended its portfolio with this genderless, pull-proof design that allows for a high-density, hermaphroditic solution. The 1.25mm contact can be assembled in circular (MIL-DTL-38999 – up to 32 pieces) or rectangular (ARINC 600, EN4165) styles of connectors.
Thanks to the keyed contact, the multimode, singlemode PC and singlemode APC versions cover the complete connectivity range required for applications in aerospace, military and harsh environments.
