Sylex now offers a new category of FIMT (Fibre in Metal Tube) products. A square locked stainless steel tube protects the fibres from external influences such as mechanical stress. With the applied sheeting material, it becomes mist proof and oil resistant.

Non-sheeting versions are an ideal solution for applications where outgassing is critical. We offer single-mode and multimode versions with FC, LCD Uniboot and MTP connectors. Optional PVC or olefin sheeting is available. These products are lightweight and pliable. Ideal for sensors, tower arrays, harsh environment and medical applications.
