MPO/MTP® Interconnections

Products

  • This Fibre to the Desk (FTTD) solution is based on a metal holder which is easy to use, features user-friendly installation and fits in most locations. Into this holder fit MTP-LC half-size modules from the MTP panel system. This module offers a capacity of up to six LC duplex ports, allowing it to connect up to six workstations.Advantages:
    • Rapid and simple installation
    • Wall or other surface mountable
    • Uses MPO/MTP-LC modules from Sylex MTP panel system
    • Connects up to six workstations
    • Minimal dimensions
    • Sleek design
  • MTP QSFP Loopback is used for testing QSFP/QSFP+ transceiver ports by creating a loop of signal from transceiver to receiver within one MPO/MTP plug it forms optical link which allows testing of optical network segment by segment. It provides an cost effective way to evaluate QSFP/QSFP+ ports during R&D validation, product diagnostic and testing or field testing of device burn-in.
  • Splitting the parallel fiber optic links to “ordinary” full-duplex connection may require certain skills and experienced personal. With factory pre-terminated, ready-to-go MTP QSFP to LCD SFP compact fanout you can build the required optical interconnections within few moments, reducing the cable bulk to 50% of the ordinary solutions.
  • MTP® PRO connector optional

  • This MTP to LC fanout split into a 2.0mm output with LC uniboot connectors is used to interconnect the MTP backbone connectors with LC patchcords in patchpanels. The ruggedized double jacket cable offers better protection of the fibers during deployment. It is easy to install thanks to identification of each LC uniboot connector.
  • MTP® PRO connector optional.
  • Simple 12- and 24-fiber MTP trunk cables used for backbone cabling are quite thin, typically with outer diameter between 3.0mm and 6.0mm. In order to protect the backbone links when installing in panel system, SYLEX offers Multi-hole cable gland, which can accomodate up to 4 cables. Fixing the cables with cable gland can prevent disconneciton by accident or damage of the cables caused by uncontrolled bending.
  • Half size sealing plate for blinding the empty ports in 1U Plug & Play panel/Frame holder.
  • Standard size sealing plate for blinding the empty ports in 1U Plug & Play panel/Frame holder.
  • MTP patch cables with thin flexible cable and multi-fiber MTP® connector provide ideal solution for cross-connection patching within DataCenter network. Round thin 3.0mm cable optimise the DataCenter airflow and reduces the cable bulk of installation.
  • MTP® PRO connector optional
