Products

  • The MDC duplex patch cord is normaly used for cross-connection between patch panels or distribution boxes with products which contains optical fibers. The perfect feature of the MDC connectors is an easy polarity change, push-pull boot advantage and the small-form-factor connector design. New SFP-DD transceivers can be directly connected by these patch cords.
  • We can offer you SM (OS2) and MM (OM3, OM4, OM5) patch cords as well as bend-insensitive single-mode patch cords with fibre G657.A. Hybrid versions combined with all standard single-fibre connectors are available as well.
  • OFNP cable option available
  • The MDC Jr. duplex jumper is typically used inside of patch panels or distribution boxes to cross-connect of the input and output adaptors. This design is ideal for testing during the setup of the production procedure in the factory and for measuring process of optical values during production.
  • Easy manipulation, low space requirements because of the MDC connector in a combination of 900um cable.
  • We can offer you SM (OS2) and MM OM3, OM4, OM5) jumpers, as well as bend-insensitive single-mode jumpers with fiber G657.A. Jumpers, which can be terminated with all standard connectors.
  • OFNP cable option available
  • The MDC duplex trunk is typically terminated with 4 connectors. This simple design can be directly used for cross-connection of the newly designed QSFP-DD (400 to 4x 100 Gbit/sec) or SFP-DD (100 to 4x 25 Gbit/sec) transceivers.
  • The MDC connector is based on the same 125um ferrules as LC connectors, offering equal optical and transmission parameters. In an environment where migration from 10, 40 or 100 Gbit/sec to 400 or 800 Gbit/sec is a must, the MDC connector benefits from its size, which allows triple the density in one 1U patch panel as compared to the LC connector.
  • We can offer you SM (OS2) and MM (OM3, OM4, OM5) versions of trunks up to 144 fibres. Aside from the pure MDC connector-based products, the hybrid versions with various types of single-fibre connectors are available as well
  • OFNP cable option available
  • Splitting the parallel fibre optic links to an “ordinary” full-duplex connection may require certain skills and experienced personnel. With factory pre-terminated, ready-to-go MTP to MDC fanouts, you can build the required optical interconnections within a few moments. As the smallest duplex connector, MDC can be used to plug the breakout fibres directly into a new Tx/Rx device (QSFP-DD or SFP-DD).
  • Products are also available with MTP® PRO connectors
  • OFNP cable option available
  • Standard size Plug & Play module for 32 connections
  • Used as splitting point from back-bone MTP cable to individual MDC ports
  • MTP-MDC 8-fibre direct split is a suitable product for data centre applications. It is typically mounted in the next generation of newly designed MTP Plug & Play cassettes or patch panels for high-density applications. With the MDC connector, we can triple the number of connections in one 1U patch panel. Fanouting is done directly in the MTP connector; therefore, no additional furcation points are required.
  • The MDC connector was designed mainly for “behind the wall” applications. In applications where space requirements are critical, the MDC-based direct split fanouts are the right choice.
  • Products are also available with MTP® PRO connectors
