Two types of top-quality zirconia ferrule-based termini – the PIN ( M29504/04) and the SOCKET (M29504/05) – in size 16 are the main building blocks for the range of MIL-DTL-38999 Series III-style fibre optic connectors. The termini are available in various options suitable for singlemode, multimode and large core diameter fibres up to 500 um. By using a variety of shell sizes (11 to 25) with a number of cavities (2 to 37) made of different types of materials (composite, stainless steel, plated aluminium), a wide range of final applications can be targeted.
