Our On-Board Optics Products
- Compact Cross-Connect Shuffle simplifies fiber routing with a compact, cost-effective design for high-density applications. Supporting up to 256 fibers, it enables precise management of both ribbon and jacketed round cables, terminated with multi-fiber connectors such as MT, MTP, MTP-16, and MMC. Its stackable form fits neatly under PCBs or in backplane chassis, while UL 94 V-0 rated materials ensure non-outgassing reliability in demanding environments.
- Cable assemblies with MXC connectors use optical interconnect technology adopted by the open compute consortium, targeting high-broadband data centre interconnection. The expanded beam PRIZM MT ferrule used in the MXC connector offers higher resistance to dust and dirt contamination. MXC to MXC trunks are designed for short-distance, high-broadband connections within a rack or cabinet.
- The 16-fiber bare ribbons terminated on both sides by MXC connectors, are carried in the new PRIZM® MT ferrule. PRIZM® MT ferrules greatly reduce sensitivity to debris, and MXC connectors take up less space in comparison to standard MPO/MTP connectors.
- PRIZM® LightTurn® is designed as a miniature detachable connector for high-speed, board-mounted Avago MicroPOD and MiniPOD modules, or for direct mounting on PCB using a mechanical-optical interface (MOI). In combination with standard MTP connectors, it is suitable for a wide range of applications such as use in transceivers, parallel optics and supercomputing.
