SYLEX has extended its MTP and Duralino trunk product portfolio by adding a double-jacket 24-fiber round cable, which offers additional mechanical protection. This new cable construction adds a layer of aramid yarn and a second cable jacket, making it ideal for back-bone trunks of long lengths, which are typically installed through cable ducts, or in cases when trunks are not easy accessible for emergency replacement. The higher tensile strength of this cable prevents possible damage during installation.
